I created an acrylic painting at my parents last Saturday. It is now framed and hung in our dinning room. My wife said it is a bold painting colour wise with some interesting mark making...I will take that as a compliment.
My mother didn't feel well so she sat in her chair and watched me paint. She let me go and supplied me with tubes of paint as I requested them. I felt very comfortable in the environment. It was a pleasant afternoon all round. At one point I sat on the floor and looked up at the painting as I applied the layers of colour. This is the picture I used as a reference....the photograph of the actual painting is not accessible right now. I will add later....
